Hi, my name is Jane Carter and I am the owner of Margot & Miller. I opened Margot and Miller in Chapel Allerton, Leeds in May 2010. This was born out of my passion for home interiors, fabrics and interior design. My goal was to provide an affordable interior design service for busy people who want a lovely home but just don’t get the time to create this themselves. Today we provide exactly that for a wide range of people whether upsizing or downsizing, busy parents, single professionals and growing families. I am friendly and approachable and most importantly I am a great listener. My aim is to understand your needs, your taste and how you live so I can help you achieve the room or home you love.

We provide an affordable bespoke furniture and upholstery service. Made to measure sofas, arm chairs etc. We will come to your home and have a chat about the furniture you are hoping to create and take it from there…

We provide a made to measure curtains and soft furnishings, whether it be one window or window dressings for you whole property, we can help.

Our service is provided in the comfort of your own home. I believe that it is so much easier to choose fabrics and make decisions when you see fabrics in situ. There is nothing more frustrating than thinking you have found the perfect fabric then getting it home and realising it just doesn’t work.

We start with a home consultation & measuring service where I bring a selection of sample books if required. I can advise on the best window dressings for the look you are trying to achieve, working with the look and feel of your property.

Our service is a complete one from measuring to making to fitting.

We have a wide range of curtain poles and tracks including motorised, and can advise on the best headings for your curtains whether that be pencil pleat, pinch pleat, eyelets, wave headings, goblet, puffball, and more. All expertly fitted by us.
